Julie Alexander Turner is a Licensed Real Estate Broker and Appraiser Trainee. She is Co-owner of United Country – MidFlorida Realty. Julie serves on the Okeechobee Board of Realtors as a Director and as the Multiple Listing Committee Chairman. Julie grew up in Okeechobee, graduated from OHS, IRCC and FSU. George, Julie's husband of 18 years, USNA '88, is an honorably discharge veteran of the Gulf War. While in the Navy, George was stationed on Destroyers and Julie volunteered as the ombudsman of the USS Dewey. Julie and her family are proud to be back home and an active part of the Okeechobee community.

I have over 33 years experience in the Title Research, Surveying and Engineering fields.  I was a member of a support team for major South Florida Consulting firms. Some projects that I am proud to have been involved in are; the Platting of Joe Robbie Stadium; Archaeological Survey of Sawgrass Mills Mall; Mapping of Seminole Tribe Reservation; All Women’s Archaeological Research Expedition (AWARE) in Egypt; Florida Archaeological Conservancy Survey of Prehistoric Cave; and numerous other projects in the Dade/Broward Area. In 1994 I settled in Okeechobee, later received my Real Estate License and joined the Brokerage firm of Coldwell Banker Berger Real Estate. In my first full year was awarded the Coldwell Banker Sterling award and the next year the Diamond Award (top 16% of Coldwell Banker agents nationwide).

 Debbie comes from the "Coast" where she lived for 32 years in Stuart,FL.  I started my real estate in 1980 learning then  managing one of the top real estate brokerages on the coast and in 1985 received  my Real Estate License as a Realtor Associate.  Throughout the years I obtained the GRI and CRS  (top 4% nationally with this designation). Also being  a State Licensed Interior Designer , a member of the  State Board of Architect and Interior Design and a member of the exclusive American Society of Interior Designers. The two careers tie into one with the importance of "Staging Your Home to Sell " and Curb Appeal.  The importance of  continuing education  for me personally reflects into being on the Board as the Education Chair.  I believe in striving for everyone to be the best they can be with  more education and each  working with a team spirit  as  building blocks for edu cation and relationships.

Karen Bowers is the Branch Manager for National City Bank, Okeechobee Branch.  Karen has been with the bank since 1989, managing the Okeechobee Office since 1999, and invites you to come by to say “Hi!”  “At National City, our goal is to be the best retail bank. Period.”

Born and raised in this quaint community I currently work with Elite Title, Inc.  I have worked with Elite Title, Inc for 3 years and love every minute of it.  I enjoy the challenges of this job.  I have a charming 7 year old son who is very smart and loves to play baseball.    I am newly married to Thomas Bobbitt, whom I absolutely adore, love and respect.  My hobbies and interest are gardening and scrapbooking.  Providing the community with professional closing services is what I do.
